About Sunshine Coast Stadium
Sunshine Coast Stadium is the premier venue for sport, leisure and entertainment on the Sunshine Coast.
In 2011 the Stadium grandstand was built and our community sport had a real home. Fast forward four years and the mounds surrounding the field were constructed allowing us into the national and international arena by attracting NRL pre-season games, national training camps and boutique events like Nitro Circus.
Today our venue attracts an array of events including NRL and rugby league, Rugby Union, Football, training camps, live music, boutique and major events. The Stadium is the only regional venue to host multiple NRL Telstra Premiership matches and continues to support and grow our community ties.
Sunshine Coast Stadium is fitted with high grade facilities and is located centrally on the Sunshine Coast making it an ideal destination for events and elite sports training. Sunshine Coast Stadium is home to a national standard playing field with a 1050 seat grandstand, 10 fields, a high performance training facility and Lake Kawana.
Offering a unique blend of relaxed coastal lifestyle and lush tropical rainforest from Hinterland to beach, the sub-tropical climate of the Sunshine Coast is a key strength for our events industry and provides a comfortable environment for year-round activity.
Located approximately one hour north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast region is easily accessible by car or via air through the centrally located Sunshine Coast Airport.
With over 100 kilometres of pristine sandy beaches, friendly coastal and hinterland towns, a wide range of attractions, accommodation and facilities, it’s no wonder the Sunshine Coast is the premier destination for your next sporting or recreational event.
