A-League heavyweight Brisbane Roar will clash with Central Coast Mariners at Sunshine Coast Stadium in a pre-season encounter next month.
In what is bound to draw a big crowd to Sunshine Coast Stadium, the two sides will collide on September 26 at 7pm.
The Roar will also play trials against Melbourne Victory at Southport on August 19 and against Newcastle Jets at Cleveland on September 12.
Brisbane will also take on an under-23 All-Stars team from the National Premier Leagues Queensland in Brisbane on September 19.
Brisbane Roar head coach John Aloisi is delighted his team will face strong opposition leading up to the opening round of the 2015/16 A-League on October 8, when it travels to Western Sydney.
He also said it was important to take the Roar to venues around South-East Queensland.
"Getting out into the community was something we spoke about as a club."
"There are a lot of kids in areas outside of Brisbane who may not have seen A-League in the flesh, or Brisbane Roar in the flesh and it is great to give them the opportunity to come to games and see great players like Thomas Broich and Matt McKay.
"Hopefully we can inspire those kids to be the next big stars in the A-League and playing for Brisbane Roar."
The Roar finished last season in sixth place while the Mariners finished eighth of 10 teams.
Ticketing arrangements for all four matches will be announced soon.
