What are some things you’d like to do while here: It should be good to get to the beach if we aren’t training too much

What are you favourite training activities to do outdoors?: Golf.

Why is it beneficial to train in the heat and sunshine?: It’s good so you can acclimatise for the heat during games.

What does the team or you individually do for fun while visiting other regions?: We enjoy just hanging out away from training.



Name: Luke Bateman

Pre-game or post match ritual: I don’t like being on my feet on a game day. If we are playing at 7pm, I just sit on the couch all day.

Guaranteed great life tip: Don’t run upstairs

When you’re not on the field you are...: I don’t do too much. I used to play golf but I sucked at it so I gave it away.

Advice to young rugby league players: Just keep working hard

Have you ever visited the Sunshine Coast before: Yes, I used to holiday there when I was a kid

What are your favourite things to do while in the region: The beaches are really nice and Noosa has a really nice National Park that you can walk around.

What are you favourite training activities to do outdoors?: Footy training.

Why is it beneficial to train in the heat and sunshine?: It helps you get fitter and you have to get your Vitamin D.

What does the team or you individually do for fun while visiting other regions?: We always have a team dinner and then most of the time go out and watch a movie.

Advice to young rugby league players: Work hard because hard work will take you to where you desire to be

Dob in a mate – tell us who in your team has the worst habits on the road: Probably Jordan Rapana because he stinks. He doesn’t shower.

What are your favourite things to do while in the region: Beaches are pretty good.

What are you favourite training activities to do outdoors?: I don’t have any.

Why is it beneficial to train in the heat and sunshine?: It’s good for weight loss

What does the team or you individually do for fun while visiting other regions?: Go on team coffee dates and then stitch up one player to pay for the bill.
