WHILE traffic changes during the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships cause some havoc for spectators and competitors, no such drama should unfold during the IVF Va’a World Sprint Championships.
Plenty of designated parking spaces for volunteers, officials and the general public has been set aside.
Two main public car parks will be available for $5 per-day, with entry points from Nicklin Way and the corner of Sportsmans Pde and Main Dr.
A disabled parking entry has also been established on Sportsmans Pde at the southern end of Sunshine Coast Stadium.
Shuttle buses won’t be running to the event, with public transport the likely option if you wish to leave the car at home.
A ride from Maroochydore Bus Station to the stadium takes approximately 26 minutes and costs $3.93 for an adult Go Card fare.
For the same fare you can get a bus from Caloundra Station to the stadium in 20 minutes.
