Coming into winter we're all about celebrating with some of Queensland's best sporting talent. Get ready to to raise that heart rate (from the stands if you don't feel like running)! Here's our favourite picks for June and why you should drop in to see them.







1. Our SC Falcons are on a winning streak!

Our SC Falcons have been putting on a show, coming out on top with some tough competition. Their hard work currently has them placed at number two on the ladder half way into the season. If there’s ever been a time to rally behind your home team, it’s right now! Let’s hope to see their winning streak continue.

2. The best of the best QLD Oztag players unite!

The best players from the 2017 Junior and Senior State Cups will form QLD Country, QLD City and QLD Barbarians competition teams. If you didn’t get along to catch the previous tournaments, be sure to stick your head in to watch these guys go head-to-head as things can get pretty crazy on the field!

3. Junior Rugby League talent shines at Queensland Rugby League State Junior Carnival

The 2017 QRL State Carnival will see around 500 players from Queensland rally together to participate in a four day event. Each competing in representative junior rugby league age groups the annual event showcases the best junior talent from around the state, while also providing valuable education to those on the junior representative pathway. Your next future rugby league stars could be here - don't miss them!

This Run, Swim, Run event is a great way to test your running and swimming speed against the best in Queensland. Coming to the Sunshine Coast for the third year, the Kawana Aquathlon is quickly becoming a must do on the Triathlon Queensland Calendar.

Round 3 of QTS also hosts the Kawana Aquathlon.

This event is a Triathlon Australia World Qualifying Race to compete for Australia at the Age Group ITU World Championships on the Gold Coast in September 2018.
