IF you sometimes wish they had jumping castles for grown-ups, you might be in luck. Inspired by game shows such as Wipeout and It's a Knockout, the ROC Race is scheduled to come to the Sunshine Coast in March. The obstacle course event, which will be held at the Sunshine Coast Stadium, boasts it has the world's biggest inflatable water slide among a series of testing challenges. In a statement, event organisers say the event is open to people aged 13 and over.
The day will be divided into two sessions, called "waves", the first running from 7.30am to 11am and the second from 11am to 5pm.
Tickets range in price from $82 to $109, depending on how soon you book.
Spectator tickets can be bought for $20 each by a participant (for friends and/or family) or $30 for anyone else.
Ticket bookings open on November 24. Go to for more details.
