Maddy McAuliffe was captain of the Brisbane South Wildcats and now has the opportunity to forge a career at the highest level. Joining the Sunshine Coast Lighting team at just 22, she will now be able to develop her skills at an elite level learning under the experienced players in the team!

Pre-game ritual: Toast with banana and honey, lots of hydration and I always strap my left foot before my right.
Training tip: Don’t be afraid to try new things and make mistakes during training.
Most memorable career moment: Making my debut for Sunshine Coast Lightning.

What do you do in your down-time: Go for bike rides to the beach, drink coffee and occasionally do some uni work.
