Position: GD/WD

Started playing when: 8 years’ old

Pre-game ritual: Music to keep me calm and focused. And then a very important visit to the loo, just before the game starts.

Training tip: Identify things you want to work on.  Take action and then repetition after repetition. Make sure you do on court as well as off-court training sessions.

Most memorable career moment:  Being given the opportunity to play in the Suncorp Super Netball competition and representing my country.

Favourite quote: Everything is possible for he who believes.

What do you do in your down-time: Anything with family and friends. Seeing new places and reading books.

Advice to young players interested in getting into the game:  Get involved within your school or club. Dream, work hard and never give up. That dream might not come true within the next few days, months or years…but if you keep on working hard, it will someday and you will “reap the fruit” of you hard work.

Best food for fuel: Poached eggs, wholegrain bread and avocado.
