The Sunshine Coast Stadium is home to sport and events here on the Sunshine Coast. With a solid calendar of weekly events, there really is something for everyone.

For the uninitiated, here are some fun facts that you might not know about us!

The Sunshine Coast Stadium is so much more than just a stadium!

As the foundation point for the Kawana Sports Precinct it consists of seven fully lit fields, a High Performance Training Facility, Western Fields, Kawana Aquatic Centre and the beautiful Lake Kawana.

For sports fans, views don’t get better than this

The Sunshine Coast Stadium grandstands have 1050 seats, with an additional 2000 temporary seats situated either side of it. Now with the latest addition of the grass mounds, the Sunshine Coast Stadium can hold up to 10, 000 seated people per event! We couldn’t think of a better way to spend the weekend than to bring along a blanket, your family or friends and spend the day on those hills cheering on your favourite team.

We’re all for community

We are home to the Sunshine Coast Falcons and Sunshine Coast Fire but we also work closely with Sunshine Coast Lightning, Brothers Junior Rugby Union, Kawana Junior and Senior Rugby League, Kawana Soccer Club, Kawana Touch Association, Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association, Sunshine Coast Rugby Union and Sunshine Coast Spartans Gridiron.

We’re so close to the beach, you can feel that ocean breeze!

If there’s one perk about living on the Sunshine Coast, it’s got to be having access to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. Lucky for us, Sunshine Coast Stadium is so close to the beach, you can almost taste the salt come off the waves! Drive there in under five minutes, or take a stroll to get there in 15 pre or post event!
