The inaugural Craft Beer and Cider Festival Sunshine Coast has finally arrived - and we're all here for it! The beers have been brewed, the ciders are chilled, we've got drool-worthy foodies in the line up and an action packed day ready when gates open this Saturday, November 25 at 1:30pm (or 12:30pm for you lucky VIPs)!

Here's what you need to know.

Entry

Entry opens at 12:30pm for VIP ticket holders, and 1:00pm for those with general tickets. Please have your ticket, ID and bags ready for checking at the entrance gate and be sure to jump into the correct queue to ensure a swift entry into the festival.

While we recommend booking ahead of time, the ticket box will be open from 11:30am for any last minute stragglers hoping to join the Craft Beer and Cider Festival.

Parking and Transport

Onsite parking is available for $10 per vehicle. We ask all guests to adhere to road rules if you are parking on the street, as we would hate to see your day ruined by returning to a parking fine. If you find that you have a little too much to drink, please note that you can leave your vehicle on site overnight. Gates into the venue will be locked 11:30pm and will not reopen until 8am the following morning. Any vehicles parked overnight will need to be removed between 8am -10 am the following Sunday (26/11/2017).

Alternately, Craft Beer and Cider Festival bus tickets will be available at the end of the evening for $10. These buses will depart at 9pm and head to Brisbane Road, Mooloolaba; Caloundra Station Bus Interchange, Caloundra; and the Aerodrome Rd Bus Interchange in Maroochydore. Tickets are available for $10 and can be purchased at any SAB Recharge Station.

For further public transport options, please CLICK HERE.

Smoking

Smoking is only permitted within the Designated Smoking Area (DOSA). You can find this at the North Eastern side of the venue, located towards the Pick Up/ Drop Off location listed on the site map.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Please note that responsible service of alcohol applies and any unruly or intoxicated patrons will be refused service at this event. In the case of non-compliance patrons will have their festival wristbands removed and be escorted away from the venue. No one wants to be be that guy or gal so please drink responsibly.

Food & Beverage

Small family snacks are permitted into the venue, however if you feel like bringing a feast into the venue in your esky, you will be turned away at the gate. You are welcome to bring empty water bottles into the venue. Please remember that it will be a hot day, so if you want to go the distance be sure to seek out water refill station in the Craft Beer and Cider Festival to keep you hydrated, we recommend a glass of water in between each brew (even if it means queuing up at the loo a little more frequently!).

Sunshine And Beer Currency (SAB)

Craft Beer and Cider Festival Sunshine Coast is a cashless event. If you have pre-purchased SAB currency with your festival entry ticket, you will be ready to roll out and sample to your heart’s content! For those who are needing to top-up their wristbands, please refer to the festival map for SAB Recharge Stations. Minimum recharge is $30 and if you do not spend the entire amount, you can easily have any remaining credit refunded to your card at the end of the day.

Please note that you will only be able to have any remaining credit refunded on site before leaving the festival. This can be done at any SAB Recharge Station.

Wet Weather

Rain or shine the show must go on! While we are expecting clear skies, please note that umbrellas will not be permitted into the venue. So if you’re afraid of a little rain please bring along your trusty rain jacket or poncho!

Sunshine Coast Stadium look forward to welcoming all guests to the inaugural Craft Beer and Cider Festival Sunshine Coast. Remember to stay hydrated, safe and to always designate a non-drinking driver if you've sampled too many brews!
