The back-rower/centre, who enjoyed training with Melbourne in the pre-season, played a barnstorming role for Maroochydore in the local rugby league competition last weekend to earn a return to the state league side.
But there could be late changes to the line-up. Backs Ben Hampton and Hymel Hunt, who are on an extended Storm bench for its NRL clash with the Roosters in Sydney on Monday night, could yet come back to the Sunshine Coast.
The Falcons have otherwise named five Storm-contracted players in their squad, which also has an extended bench. Young prospect Jake Harney is among those set to play.
It looms as an important match for the 12th-placed Falcons, who have won just two of 10 outings this campaign. The 14th and last-placed Capras have won just one game.
The visitors have the worst attacking record in the competition and the host has the poorest defensive statistics.
